The Journal’s primary goal is to allow the author’s perspective and voice to drive the article. Once published, the author will be recognized as the owner of the submission. Editors may suggest ideas for adding or developing an article, with the goal of improving the depth or breadth of the discussion; in each instance the author may choose whether or not to incorporate the idea.
To submit an entry, please the form below or email the Journal at waterlawjournal@gmail.com with the following information:
- Name, affiliation, and contact information
- Brief summary or first draft of proposed article
- Brief explanation of why the entry would be interesting, relevant, and timely
- Whether the author has previously published an article on the same topic
Entry Criteria
- 1000-2000 words per article
- Accurate facts and figures
- Respectful dialogue
- Bluebook or California Style Maunal
- Cite references in alphabetical, endnote format
- Double space between paragraphs in prose
- One space after end punctuation
- 1” margins
- Times New Roman, 12 point font
- Submit text in MS Word format (DOC or DOCX)
- Please do not use borders or lines
The Journal has final authority with respect to all content, organization, citation, grammar/spelling, and other issues related to writing and publication.
