The 2014 California Water Law Symposium was hosted on Saturday, February 8th at UC Hastings College of the Law. It featured eight concurrent panels on contemporary water law and policy issues facing California. These issues included the Quantification Settlement Agreement concerning the Salton Sea and agricultural-to-urban water transfers, California’s wine-growing industry and sustainable water usage, the Bay Delta Conservation Plan, the Delta Plan, and Delta flows, contaminants of emerging concern and water quality regulations, and the challenges of water storage in an age of climate change.

Our goal is to serve as a forum to continue the dialogue among law students, faculty, practitioners, and policy-makers on the burning issues of the day in California’s water community. For your consideration, we have attached below a letter that was provided at the Symposium. It lists the process and requirements for publishing an article. Of course, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to e-mail us at waterlawjournal@gmail.com.

Yours in Water,
